Opera House Offers Creative Season

The McPherson Opera House continues its 2016-2017 performance season with a creative mix of acts. The intimate 500-seat auditorium creates a powerful bond between audience and performer. The first performance at the McPherson Opera House was staged in 1889 in a beautifully decorated auditorium boasting a mural above the proscenium arch. The building, now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, offers historical appeal with 21st-century facilities including meeting rooms, an arts center and premier performance space.
