Arbor Day Poster Contest
Each year McPherson fifth graders are invited to participate in an Arbor Day poster contest sponsored by the City Forester.

Community Forestry
McPherson is proud to be a member of Tree City, USA, which is an Arbor Day Foundation program in association with the USDA Forest Service and other organizations.

McPherson Cemetery
The McPherson Cemetery Department is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of cemetery grounds in the McPherson city limits.

McPherson Water Park
McPherson Water Park offers fun for all ages in a safe environment featuring a lazy river, water slide and children's spray area.

Event Planning
Individuals planning an event that requires the use of community parks or facilities must complete the City Event Planning Form.

Community Building
Built in 1928 for approximately $13,000, the McPherson Community Building has been an important gathering place for community events. Renovation efforts will restore the original gymnasium and add a conference center.

Park Department
The City of McPherson Park Department employs 6 full-time workers who maintain 14 city parks and public rights-of-way totaling over 300 acres.

Turkey Creek Golf Course
Turkey Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole course with watered bluegrass fairways and bent grass greens.
